This is a 36 caliber Navy Colt bullet mold. It is a very early style. These Navy bullet molds were made from 1851-1873. Robin Rapley's book, "Colt Accoutrements" states that in the mid-1860s they began to square off the sprue cutter and beef up the legs. This mold has the early rounded sprue cutter with the narrow legs and body. The Colts Patent on the front sprue cutter is clearly readable and it also has a tiny C at the bottom. The right block is marked 36B with a little larger C. The cavities are really good. This mold has light salt and pepper pitting overall and a brownish patina. It works very smoothly and I believe it would still mold a near perfect ball.

International Shipping Options and Payment
Email me for International Shipping options and prices. I will ship outside the U.S. but it is not possible to insure items once they are outside the U.S. postal system..........but, if the buyer accepts the responsibility of possible damage or loss and if the buyer checks their own Custom laws and it is legal for buyer to import this particular antique weapon or item, then I MAY ship outside the U.S.A. depending on the country involved. I know the U.S. federal laws about shipping antiques and I follow them always. But you must make sure it is legal for you where you live to receive and possess the item(s) you want to buy. You may email me at: hdyoungs7@gmail.com if you have any questions.
I accept Pay Pal plus 4% of the winning bid from international bidders. And I accept Western Union payments from international bidders.
