Auction Description

Terrific Frank Wesson Double Trigger Sporting Rifle. Model 1862. Caliber 32 rimfire. Nickel Plated. Pat'd Oct 25, 1859 & Nov 11 1862.

A fine example of the Frank Wesson Sporting Rifle. The gun retains about 95% original blue and has 90% of nickel plate on the brass receiver. The buttstock was most probably a custom order since it is a lovely burl walnut. The gun has an excellent bore and is mechanically fine. The double trigger works perfectly.
